In Rory Feek’s latest This Life I Live blog post titled ‘Dust to Dust,’ he shared some of the heart wrenching photos taken as he, along with family and friends, said goodbye to his wife, Joey, who passed away last week after her battle with cervical cancer.

“In a grove of sassafras trees behind our farmhouse, with friends and family gathered around, we said goodbye to the greatest person I have ever known,” Rory writes.
