Don’t Fall for this Scam

In the last couple of days you may have gotten a phone call from someone claiming to be the IRS saying you owe thousands of dollars and if you don’t pay up you will be arrested and sent to jail. At first it can be a scary situation and that’s what they want you to think. Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION OF ANY KIND. They are scammers looking to take away your hard earned money. Hang up the phone and block their number or you can contact local authorities to report it. Our very own Tim Shickles has had this happen to him. In the last two days Tim has gotten 5 different phone calls from various phone numbers across the country leaving an automated voice message that the “IRS” is “suing” him. He immediately recognized that this was a scam, but many didn’t and they are out thousands of dollars. Please don’t fall victim to these criminals. Stay safe out there. Read more.
