Luke Bryan Added to Star-Studded Lineup for Charlie Daniels’ 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam

The Devil went down to Georgia, and he found a Georgia boy to help Charlie Daniels celebrate his 80th birthday at the 41st annual Volunteer Jam on Nov. 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Georgia native and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan has been added to the lineup that already includes Chris Stapleton, Travis Tritt, Kid Rock and Larry the Cable Guy.

Since 1974, Charlie has been bringing his musician and celebrity friends together on a “volunteer” basis to “jam,” while raising money for worthy causes. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go to the The Journey Home Project, a nonprofit co-founded by charlie that helps veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

“This year, I will celebrate two milestones, my 80th birthday and the Volunteer Jam,” said Charlie. “It’s pretty amazing that we’re both alive and kicking and still going strong. Ain’t it good to be alive and be in Tennessee!”

Stay tuned. More musical acts will be announced soon.

Tickets are on sale now and range from $25 to $80.
