Exclusive: Watch Jessie James Decker’s Sultry Cover of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” Just in Time For Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day less than 24 hours away, Jessie James Decker is getting into the romantic spirit of things with a cover of Shania Twain’s sexy hit, “You’re Still the One.”

“She is probably my biggest idol in country music,” says Jessie to Nash Country Daily. “I will forever be in love with Shania Twain. She’s one of the reasons I think I can do what I’m doing in this genre. She made people that didn’t love country music, love country music. It wasn’t just America, it was international and she has inspired me so much. I really wanted to cover one of [Shania’s] songs. There is something so intimate about ‘You’re Still the One’—it’s just so beautiful. The lyrics are so simple, yet so powerful. So it was really great to be able to sing that one.”

While Jessie, who is married to New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker, is getting ready to drop her brand-new EP, Gold—featuring her current single, “Lights Down Low”—on Friday (Feb. 17), we wondered if the brunette beauty had any special plans for Valentine’s Day on February 14.

“It’s all about the kids,” she says. “I order them organic candy and heart PJs and Valentine’s Day books. Honestly we will probably order pizza and eat it in bed.”

Sounds good to us.

You can catch JJD on the road at upcoming tour stops in Metairie, La. (Feb. 19), Houston (Mar. 4) and Lakeland, Fla. (Mar. 25). Gold is available for pre-order now.
