Streak On: Cole Swindell Earns 7th Consecutive No. 1 Single With “Flatliner”

Cole Swindell has done it again.

Cole’s current single, “Flatliner,” is No. 1 on the Mediabase chart this week, making it his seventh consecutive single to reach No. 1 on a Billboard or Mediabase chart after “Middle of a Memory,” “Chillin’ It,” “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey,” “Let Me See Ya Girl” and “You Should Be Here.”

“Flatliner,” which features vocals from Dierks Bentley, was co-penned by Cole, Matt Brownleewe and Jaron Boyer, and is the third single from his sophomore album, You Should Be Here. The tune is also Cole’s 10th No. 1 as a songwriter, following “This Is How We Roll” (Florida Georgia Line), “Get Me Some of That” (Thomas Rhett) and “Roller Coaster” (Luke Bryan).

“Every No 1 is special for so many reasons,” said Cole. “This one is really special because it’s a song I wrote with my mentor in mind. Never dreaming it would turn out like this for me! Dierks is not only my mentor but my friend, and now I have a No. 1 song I was blessed to get to record with him. He has been so gracious and supportive of me from the beginning. This feels amazing.”
