GENESEE COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN 2024 OPERATION GREEN LIGHT FOR VETERANS

It’s easy to show your support of our local Veterans, just swap an exterior light bulb with a green bulb now through Veterans Day.

“Genesee County’s support of Operation Green Light is a visible symbol of our unwavering
support and appreciation to those who have served,” said James Avery, Chair of the Genesee
County Board of Commissioners. “This initiative is a reminder to our entire community that the
sacrifices of veterans should be remembered not just on Veterans Day, but every day.”

“Operation Green Light is a great way to raise awareness and understanding about the often
unseen challenges faced by our veterans everyday,” said Derrick Britton, Director of Genesee
County Veterans Services.
