Shaboozey Ties A Record As ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ Tops Billboard Hot 100 For 19th Week

Shaboozey’s crossover smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” remains at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record-tying 19th week. The song has now tied the longest reign at No. 1 over the 66-year history of the chart, equaling Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus), which also ruled for 19 weeks back in 2019. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has also topped the Hot Country Songs chart for 23 weeks and counting. The rest of the Billboard Hot 100 chart is rounded out by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” holding at No. 2 for the fourth week, Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” sticking at No. 3, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” moves up a spot to No. 4, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” drops a slot to No. 5, while her other current charting single “Taste” stays at No. 8, Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True” remains at No. 6, Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, sticks at No. 7, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” holds at No. 9, and Wallen’s “Love Somebody” remains at No. 10.
